BMX Freestyle Park will be featured at the Tokyo Olympic Games. In order to prepare the
French BMX athletes in the best possible way, the French Cycling Federation (FFC) chose
Hurricane Parks to build a complete BMX Freestyle facility for the French team to train in
Grammont, Montpellier. Montpellier was chosen for its local scene and the international
FISE events that make Montpellier a real land of riders.
AGENCY MISSION
HURRICANE PARKS was asked by the City of Montpellier and the FFC to construct a cutting
edge BMX Freestyle Park training site for the French team. The park’s design is inspired by
major competitions and allows the top athletes to train in perfect conditions. It also features
a “Trick Learning Zone” where riders can a practice new jumps or tricks with a foam pit to
ensure they land safely.
